About OT
Inspiring Occupational Therapist Award
This biennial award honours occupational therapists that are an inspiration to the profession. Employers, human resource personnel and the public are invited to nominate inspiring occupational therapists for this award.
Criteria for nominee:
Registered Occupational Therapists with the Allied Health Professions Council
Current SAOT member
Have worked at least 10 years as Occupational Therapist or with Occupational Therapy students or Occupational Therapists
Currently working as an Occupational Therapist or with Occupational Therapy students or Occupational Therapists
Must have volunteered with SAOT or served in SAOT council
Contributed significantly towards elevating the quality of healthcare or social care delivery for the benefit of the Singapore Community
Contributed in one or more of the following areas:
1. Significant achievement in his/ her respective field of clinical specialty
2. Research breakthroughs that have advanced occupational therapy
3. Significant involvement in community, welfare, and civic activities that demonstrate an exemplary spirit of public service
4. Contributed significantly towards clinical education and nurturing of succeeding generation of occupational therapists in their clinical expertise
Contributions should be significant, impactful and should entail going beyond the call of duty.
