The SAOT Mentorship programme first started in 2019, with the goals of:
Mentor-mentee matches are typically made based on the mentoring needs. Formal mentorship will last for 1 year and will be supported by SAOT.
Occupational therapists who must be SAOT members and fully registered with the Singapore Allied Health Professional Council.
Occupational therapists with a minimum of 10 years experience working as an OT in Singapore and a strong interest in supporting younger occupational therapists within the profession.
Open call for the professional mentorship programme is currently done on an annual basis. Members can look out for emailers from SAOT on the open call for mentees and mentors.
