Synopsis:

The session will highlight the transformative impact of assistive technology in dementia care, emphasising a person-centered approach to selecting and integrating tools into daily routines.

Facilitator’s Bio:

Joycelyn is an experienced senior Occupational Therapist with a demonstrated history of working in the Intermediate and Long Term Care (ILTC) setting. She is skilled in Dementia care, Neuro rehabilitation, Geriatric rehabilitation, General rehabilitation, and Assistive Technology.

Joycelyn is also a certified Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) through the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA).
