Synopsis:

This informative online lecture is for occupational therapists working with patients who have brachial plexus injuries. The presentation will cover essential aspects of brachial plexus anatomy, key assessment techniques, and practical management approaches. Participants will learn about both conservative and post-operative rehabilitation strategies, enhancing their skills in treating these complex injuries.

 

Faciliators’ Bio:

Siok Kee holds a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from La Trobe University and specializes in Hand and Upper Limb rehabilitation. In 2024, she was awarded the HMDP skills attachment for “Complex Nerve and Upper Limb Rehabilitation.” Siok Kee recently completed her two-month skills attachment in Taiwan, focusing on the rehabilitation of patients with brachial plexus and upper limb nerve injuries. During this time, she gained extensive experience in both conservative management and post-reconstructive operation rehabilitation at two prominent hospitals’ rehabilitation departments.
