Speaker Bio:
Professor Emerita Susan Bazyk is an occupational therapy researcher and practitioner who has devoted her career to addressing child & youth participation and mental health in schools, home, and the community. Susan is the founding director of Every Moment Counts, which was launched in 2012, This multi-pronged mentail health promotion initiative focuses on helping all chilclren and youth participate suacessfully throughout the day in acaclemia and non-aaademic settings, Susan has authored over 40 journal articles and several book chapters in leadling OT textbooks. As a Fulbright Speciaillst, Susan has presented on Every Moment Counts in New Zealand in 2020 and lreland in 2023.
